Specific Terms and Conditions for Diwali Dhamaka 2024

  • These Terms shall apply in conjunction with the E-Remit Terms and Conditions (“General Terms”). You should therefore read these Specific Terms in combination with the General Terms. Where any Specific Terms conflict with the General Terms, the Specific Terms will take precedence.
  • By entering any promotion, you agree that you will be legally bound by both these General Terms and the Specific Terms.
  • The Promotion is open from 17 October 2024 to 31 October 2024 (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Promotional Period’).
  • The "Diwali Dhamaka 2024" Promotion (hereinafter referred to as "the Promotion") offers a $1 cashback to all eligible transactions conducted during the Promotional Period. Additionally, one lucky Customer (sender) will be randomly selected each day (Monday to Sunday) from transactions made via E-Remit to India. The winner will receive a prize of INR 500, credited in its AUD equivalent, at E-Remit’s sole discretion. A random draw will be conducted daily throughout the Promotional Period, and the winner will be selected fairly from all valid entries. The winner’s details will be announced on the E-Remit Facebook page during the promotion.
  • Only eligible transactions are part of this promotion, and the following criteria apply:
    • The Promotion is applicable only for customers transferring money to India via E-Remit during the Promotional Period.
    • The Promotion is valid for all successful transactions to India, regardless of transaction value, during the Promotional Period.
    • The transaction must be successfully completed to avail of the benefits of this Promotion. Any incomplete or rejected transactions will not count.
    • Customers must be fully registered, and their identity verified by E-Remit to qualify for this Promotion.
  • You agree and provide consent to E-Remit to use your details to promote and market its services, subject to the terms of the Privacy Policy.
  • If a customer fails to comply with these General or Specific Terms or is found in breach of any promotion rules, E-Remit may disqualify the entrant and require the return of any awarded prize.
  • Prizes not claimed within the stated period may be awarded to alternative winners or forfeited entirely.
  • E-Remit reserves the right to replace the stated prizes with alternatives of broadly equivalent value. No cash alternatives are available for non-cash prizes, and prize winners must accept the prizes as offered.
  • E-Remit makes no representation or warranty regarding the prizes provided. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability in relation to any prize, its fitness for purpose, or merchantability. We reserve the right to disqualify customers who engage in unsafe, illegal, unsociable, or inappropriate behaviour.
  • This Promotion cannot be exchanged for cash or any other value. Cashbacks received from promotions are non-refundable and must be applied toward your future Transfer Requests.
  • The exchange rate volatility for India can affect E-Remit’s advertised rates.
  • E-Remit reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who uses multiple names, false names, or engages in any fraudulent activity. E-Remit may also require the return of any prize awarded under such circumstances.
  • E-Remit reserves the right to amend or cancel the promotion at any time without prior notice.
